What we do.

With focus on traditional shipping, we facilitate anything from a oneship second hand deal, to large complex logistical/financial structures. Through our network, we work closely with all large leasing houses in China.

About Lorentzen & Co.

  • A body of water with two ships floating, and a cloudy sky with rays of sunlight breaking through.

    History.

Lorentzen & Co has more than 100 years history in maritime business. Since 1919 we have seen the world change dramatically. We have changed with it. Developments in markets, technology, and the society as whole demand new solutions, not only to old problems, but new solutions to new problems.

The key to survival and success in changing environments is not strength – it is adaption. The ability to adapt to change is crucial. After 100 years of history, changes, and adaption, we are still around. Now we change again. Through change we make the future.

  • Workers in protective gear, including helmets and face masks, operating control panels on a ship's bridge.

    People.

Every business start with people. People with ideas, skills, and the ability to perform together, make the backbone of our business.

  • Large black and red cargo ship named Providence in the water, with other ships visible in the background under a cloudy sky.

    Clients.

The success of our clients is the key to our business. Our mission is to help our clients achieve their goals.

Since its founding in 1919, Lorentzen & Co and its people have helped clients globally to invest and de-invest in changing markets.

Today, and even more for the future, sustainability affects profitability. The footprint of the business to society and the planet will also determine the cost of capital. In that way ESG hits the bottom line directly.
